For the Oil Outpouring

Are you helping or adding to it?.... please resist the urge to judge & utter recriminations, there is time for that later & plenty will do it anyway. If you feel horror, panic or distress, please consciously try to turn it around into hope, focus & strength... send positive thoughts to those actively working in the area... to those working for a solution, to those rescuing wildlife, to those directly affected so far, to the creatures, the plants, the water, etc etc......

Intention works...

 it has been shown time & again both in the scientific world & the spiritual. Visualise the wound closing, healing... the flow of oil from it being plugged... clear, healthy waters returning. Send energy to stem the flow & see it happening as often as you can throughout the day.... every time you boil the kettle...wash up... go to the loo... wait in a queue... once you have the picture in your mind it gets easier to recall the more you try.... associate it with the simple things you do. Actively help.

Here’s a vizualisation/meditation... you can expand on it or you can use parts of it at any time... spend as much time as you need on each part...

Prepare...

 ...set your scene... gather whatever tools or symbols you need to aid your focus & direct energy... perhaps a bowl of water with a floating candle would be appropriate here... crystals, stones... earth energy is vital.... connect to the Earth in whatever way you choose, either literally or through visualization... 

Connect...

See yourself in a place where you connect to the Earth... sitting against a tree, whose roots go deep into the Earth... on a boulder that reaches far into the ground... on a mountain, in a forest, it doesn’t matter, wherever you connect... connect... feel yourself becoming one with the Earth.... feel her steady resolve... feel the heartbeat...

Be part of it...

Take yourself to the source of the out-pouring... feel yourself rising through the earth on the ocean floor... Be there... see the turbulence where the oil meets the ocean... don’t panic, just observe... watch, feel... until you are fully present.... until you are fully part of it... 

Arc of light...

Feel the energy of the earth building in you... moving through you...  building... expanding... when you can contain it no longer, when you are tingling with energy, shoot out a beam of light (i’m seeing gold, but use whatever colour you choose)... straight out, up through the turbulence of the out-pouring.... see it arc above you... a streak of golden brilliance.... see it expand outwards... forming a canopy of light high above you... golden light extending in a brilliant dome that reaches out & down... around... as far as you can see... gradually extending down until it meets the ocean floor in all directions.... See the light forming a dome over the open wound on the sea-bed... holding the turbulence within....

Calm...

Hold it there a while.... letting the energy, the heart-beat, pulse through you... through the oil & water... around the sides of the dome of light... hold the turbulence within... breathe calm into the waters until the turbulence settles... breathe calm... breathe....until the oil knows it is contained... 

Close the dome....

Then gradually draw the dome of light closer.... see it coming closer... down & in.... easing the oil back into the earth.... gently... slowly... contract the dome of light... keep it going... down & down until you are back within the earth... back into safety... and the golden light is sealing the gash in the earth’s crust....

Heal the wound...

Visualize the wound above you healing.... light & earth melding... closing the gap.... see it closing.... see it healing...until you are sealed safely in the Womb of the Earth... relax... you are safe in the arms of the earth.... rest a while.... breathe.... relax & breathe until you feel it is done.... then slowly come back to the place you started.... feel the warmth of the sun & a gentle breeze... hear water trickling somewhere nearby.... & know that all is well.....

Singing Bowls & Signs...

Some years ago, feeling very uncertain... shaken after an argument during which my partner called everything that I was learning a total waste of time and a load of s***e... i asked for a sign... some confirmation that I was on the right path... although I knew really, I still called for help, something to show me....

His anger at the time, was like a physical blow to my solar plexus... I was hurt & shocked by a verbal onslaught that left me tearful, drained and confused... both about my relationship and the path I was following... learning about healing and spirituality... i even tried to apply rational thought that maybe it is all baloney, but couldn't do that with conviction... I lay in bed that night & desperately asked for something to show me the way...

 Endless Knot- Infinite wisdom of the Buddha 

The thing is, he erupts quickly & spews out anything that will inflict pain... then he subsides just as quickly and wonders why I am in tears, or still hurt hours or days later. It's partly his sagittarian fire, and his centaurs bow, aiming those arrows of hurt when he feels wounded himself. Partly his need to wound is due to his own past hurts... Over the years I've learned much about how & why he explodes ... and why I react the way I do to his words... we both have, we're still very much together. But that was still in the early days... I didn't understand this aspect of him just as he could not comprehend my taurean smouldering... I was caught unawares like a rabbit in headlights and i was stunned...

As I calmed my breathing, asking for some sign, I began to see shapes that I knew were symbols of some kind... just hazy lines moving in & out of focus... a circle of separate pictures that revolved in front me, behind my closed eyes, coming into focus one at a time... in the morning I could only remember two of them, and only quite fuzzily....

We were staying near Leighton Buzzard, but I hadn't yet explored... the next day, not particularly in the mood I wandered around... down a little alleyway into a shop whose name I can't recall... but I do remember pausing inside the doorway & rather than taking the natural route around the shop, I turned back behind the door & peered into a small window display... and picked up a bowl....

I gasped aloud, for the symbols were the same that I had 'seen' the night before... I was new to 'messages' & I didn't even know what a 'singing bowl' was.... and none of the others in the shop had the same inscriptions... and I found myself having a conversation about Reiki, and whether we see or hear or smell or feel messages from spirit.... and I bought this bowl.... and over the years I have continued to learn...

This article about the Basic Teaching of Buddha is worth reading if you are not familiar with Buddhism. And if you are, a reminder may be good! Of course there have been many interpretations & schools of thought, but the teachings of the Buddha can be embraced alongside other faiths... it is about a way of being, of wisdom and compassion... even if you disagree with certain concepts, or believe in other ways... one thing the Buddha insisted was not to believe something because he said, but to feel the truth of it for yourself...

Water Healing Ceremony...

 Dr Masuro Emoto has experimented widely on the effect of projected thoughts on water crystals. The effects are stunning and can be seen his website here or just search you tube for amazing videos....

Perhaps you would like to add your healing thoughts to the ceremony (10.25am uk time). If the time is inconvenient, you can always do your bit earlier, setting your intention that they arrive at the required time, or that they join with the people taking part at Lake Biwa. If you havn't tried projecting healing over time or distance why not give it a go? It's all about intention & 'knowing' that the energy will go where you ask, when you ask. Just relax & try it... feel it working... feel it flowing... just know....


You may choose to visualise a spiral, spinning out healing energy to where it is needed.... or pure bright light... maybe a rainbow of loving, healing energy arcing over the water.... or visualise water crystals being charged with peace & love... or sit beside water, or hold some in a vessel in your hands, concentrating on the flow of healing to all the waters of the world.... and those with knowledge of the Reiki symbols can use them... why not comment & add your ideas?

For An Unborn Child...

Earlier today I joined with a friend to send healing for her unborn first grandchild (and it’s parents). The baby still has 6 weeks to go until full term, but mum has high blood pressure & baby’s heartbeat keeps dropping dangerously low. Early induced birth is a possibility, and fears of loss hover amongst the family.

We light candles and sit, hands joined, invoking the healing energies, calling on Goddess and Guides for help... we both have our different ways, but a united intent for the highest good of all. Whatever our personal wishes, it is not our choice whether this baby be born into this world or not... we are not privy to decisions made on other levels. 

So we open the channels to healing and we pour love, cocooning this worried couple and their baby with loving, healing energy... asking that they draw it to them, to feel it, to accept it.... my friend asked what colour light she should send... I said whatever feels right... she was sensing sparkly pink light whereas normally she would visualise blue or violet, maybe gold....I don’t think there is a ‘right’ colour, whatever feels right is right at that time... go with the flow... let healing energy flow....

I felt the flow, I felt it around them, then filling the womb... as if they were in the womb too... I felt Divine Love encircling us all... I felt a heartbeat... the heartbeat of the world.... connecting to that unborn child... that precious soul hesitating, wondering which way to choose.... heartbeat of the world... heartbeat of the child...feel the rhythm, remember, what you came to do.... 

Words always come to me, I feel them... others may see things, taste, hear or smell, there is no one ‘right’ way... trust in the flow of healing, be guided by the energy....  

We both felt the heartbeat, we both felt the baby connect with it & steady itself, we both felt that this child will be born, but we both know that this decision is not ours. We continue to offer healing, to surround them all with love, that they may draw on it as they will. Be courageous, precious little soul.


[update: baby girl born naturally the next day- tues 17 march 9.10pm... she wanted to be a pisces! She's small, but doing ok]
